Overview

The Korean Language Education Scholarship Foundation provides financial support to outstanding students and teachers who are passionate about advancing Korean language education. Our scholarships recognize and encourage excellence in this field.

Eligibility Criteria

• Outstanding Students :

  • Enrolled in a Korean language program or institution.

  • Residing in the U.S. for over five years.

  • Currently in grades 9 through 11.

• Outstanding Teachers:

  • Currently teaching at a Korean school in the U.S.

  • Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience.

  • No awards received in the past five years.

Application Process

1. Complete the scholarship application form.

2. Submit the required documents:

   - Application Form

   - Recommendation Letter

   - Personal Statement

   - Essay (Choose one topic):

   • A Memorable Korean Language Class

   • How Learning Korean Boosted My Self-Esteem

   • A Story About My Unique Family

3. All documents must be submitted to klesapplication@gmail.com by June 30, 2025.
